Vimal Jyothy Central School is an academic fraternity of Adoration Sisters dedicated to the motto of Love, Service and Sacrifice. The school has been born out of the educational vision of Venerable Mar Thomas Kurialacherry, the founder of Sisters of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. He was the first Bishop of Changanasserry, who was a great educationist, and social reformer. The school is proud of its organizational culture rooted in Gospel Values, mutual respect, personal maturity and integrity, team work and social concern.
The Vimal Jyothy with CBSE syllabus came into existence in the academic year 2002. The late Rev. Sr. Rose Arackal with 68 students paved the seed of this school. In 2003 LKG to VIIth class with 325 students, the same year Rev. Sr. Aloysius took charge as the principal of the school. There was 15 qualified teachers and 2 supporting staff. In the year 2004-05 the school got affiliation from the Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi and the strength was 497 students 23 qualified teachers. In 2004 May Rev. Sr. Rose Arackal had gone for heavenly abode. In 2005 June Vimal Jyothy bid farewell to Rev. Sr. Aloysius and Rev. Sr. Mercy Pullan took charge as the Principal of this institution. In 2008 March 10th the school was upgraded to senior secondary level. Presently the school has a strength about 1500 students 60 teachers and 13 supporting and office staff including the school and kindergarten section. The Vimal Jyothy as its name indicates spreads light visualizing new horizons in this Mupliyam village.
